With the support of Asian Development Bank (ADB), the SD&ED : Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Punjab Under the leadership of Ms. Amna Rafique, Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project (PIU IWRPP), invited our CTO, Rosheel Baig, to brief the Strategic Planning Unit (SPU) on the Single Skills Database.

Joined by Maheen Nasir, Rosheel gave the team a bird’s-eye view of how one database can bring the whole skills ecosystem into a single view.

SPU is the central policy, planning and coordination arm of SD&ED. It shapes strategy, monitors performance and makes sure skills initiatives match real labour-market needs. It also brings PSDF, TEVTA, PVTC, PSDA and PBTE together under one provincial skills framework.

When planning is backed by unified data, decisions get faster, sharper and more impactful.

Thank you to the SPU team and the IWRPP team for the time and thoughtful discussion. We’re proud to support this vision.
